Just signed on to HAMB earlier today. Totally amazed at the ideas and feedback provided amongest the members. I'm a licenced mechanic by trade, I have a car and light truck mechanic licence, and the bus and heavy truck licence as well. I've started half a dozen projects during my early years, but have never finish any. Get started on something and someone makes a decent offer and it was gone. Got into flying over twenty five years ago, built my own airplane, took 10 1/2 years for that. Flew it for 14 years, and just sold it this last summer. Now I'm back to my first love, old iron. Managed to pick up a couple or six projects over the last while. Fiberglass 29 Ford Roadster body last summer, Fiberglass 23 Ford Bucket project car I bought last spring. I have a Fiberglass 27 Ford body in the shop.... for about 12 years now. It's new, I had it laid up by RamRod here in Canada, it was a sedan mold, but had him add six inches or so behind the door frame and stop there. Was going to make a popcorn wagon, didn't happen. Then a depot hack, didn't happen. But now... a Model T closed cab pickup, which should be cool, because Ford didn't make them happen. They had closed cabs on the bigger trucks, but not on the small ones, they were all roadsters. So that's who I'm, what I do, and what's in the works. Done flyin, so now I'm goin roddin. Looking forward to chatting with you and trading ideas. Best to you and your projects, have a great New Year. Rob
