NOT trying to start a shit-storm of pro/anti comments about Ol Skool Rodz....honest question:
...We would like to ask the members who have had ads in OSR what their results were, feedback and response-wise,.....
Thanks in advance....

Kinda related. I know that Flyrite has done well with their ad in "The Horse". I know it's not the same, but it's the same company and it's the best I got.

Thanks Buzzard,
Now that you mention it, FlyRite did have an ad or two in OSR.....
I realize that our ads would differ from most others,product-wise, but I'm thinking that if enough members have positive results with OSR, our microscopic ad budget would be used wisely there....
Hank....
The photos haven't been showing up on time...it would be a REAL shame if folks "Accidently" found out where you work! http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Adam...
Could you elaborate on how well it works?
Not only are we curious, but there may be other HAMB artists who are considering advertising their services and might be interested as well.....

Stoner!
When you say "work" with us,do you mean "Pay the mag full price for an ad and we will print it for ya".......or do you mean to imply that the fine economic tradition of the HAMB-bro discount will be in effect here? http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
Nice logo! http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Garage... You will get results just cuz of the incredible logo... and think of the demogrpahic you will hit - not only will you get traditional hot rodders, but "Gay Rage" folks as well. Two for one.

I enjoyed the Spook Car pictorial in Garage 4 (thanks again to Yosemite!)....it would have been great to have exposure in that kinda themed issue.....
I'm into finding out about response because the last time we jumped into advertising with a magazine, it turned into a big nightmare....
It came with the old " SURE! We will cover your work....MAYBE if you bought a series of ADS for a year,we could get that article in sooner.." http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif
Fair enough....no trouble understanding the motive of the mag in that case....but he lied about the direction, response, and reader base of the mag, making our ads not only out-of-place,but worthless....all we got were offers of sex from Goth chicks! I'm not trying to be funny, it happened !
You know what? The HAMB O' DEX is a damn fine working ad and has helped us already.....BIG thanks to Ryan for adding this feature....
