So I stop by my buddies shop to help move his freshly built blast cabinet. He asks me If I want to go look at some old tin tomorrow. Supposedly there are 100s of old frames cabled together to form riprap on some river as well as a bunch of those "Bonnie and Clyde" cars! We head out a 5am to check into it. I will keep ya posted. Seems like 90% of the old cars I find are "Bonnie and Clyde" cars...

Duuuuuuuuuuude Take a digi camera with you. Watch for a clean, rust-free 36 chevy windshield frame, preferably with a fresh, tinted windshield in it, chopped 5 inches.

Kenny, you guys down south have no clue how dry it is here. These cars are in an area that is drier than the desert. The term river is used loosely!!!

As soon as I resize these dig. pix, I'll share 'em! Cowls, frames and everything else! Ford, Chev, Dodge, etc...
The guy is taking me out to his "secret" stash in the hills next weekend. 300 more cars under 1947!!!
This stuff is crazy!

Found the area, found a ton of frames. Didnt go far enough into the area to stumble upon the car bodies. 5am Was kickass! Saw mucho Deer, Antelope, lots of Raptors on thier migration. A good morning, we are going back when the trees loose thier leaves.

As for the frames, all of them are unknown and 20s GM frames cabled, tied and wired together to form "hedghogs" to stop trees from floating into the bridges. I counted 50+ frames and I gues we missed 3 times that!!!! Too bad there is nothing worthwhile so far. Did find a 50 Ford Business coupe and a 56 Chevy 2dr post in our travels. To be continued.........
