More Coupe Changes

I made a small change to the coupe that made a big difference. I painted the fire wall the same color as the wheels. Its House Of Krylon(tm) Ivory. Plan on having some striping done at the Spring Hoe Down next Saturday. Other than that, I'm happy with it. That thing has realy come a long way. I am dig'n it more each time you post a pic. There is only one small thing that still sticks out like a sore thumb to me. It's those damn tires. It was pretty much the same BUT it had all the crap I had taken off of his car, plastered all over the C Dan! I'm a believer that less is more. Simple is better, and lines and asthetics make the car. Your eye should'nt be getting caught on doo dads and Taiwan chrome. I never had to spell out HOT ROD on the C-Dan. The car spoke for itself (I think). Same goes for the coupe. The more I took off, the better it looked. My true test was Saturday at a car show. Older guys were asking me how the Hell I knew what a Hot Rod was supposed to look like. I was too young! They just stared at my car and smiled that far away smile that made me feel pretty good. See Tony? I told you it was in there!
