4 sleeps till Beach Hop, who's going, whats happening ? HAMB Beers at my stand on at sometime ?
Picking Mr + Mrs Peddro in the wee small hours Friday and then we will hit the road somwhere round the middle of the day I guess.

Got the passes in the mail at the weekend along with my new Ramones knock off T from All Torn Up Al.

<font color="red">Getting the rego done on the new 55 is turning into a bloody nightmare. They gave us a list of things to do and then we took it back yesterday with everything done and they wanted some more stuff done. It is booked into three different places for work today. New driveshaft universal. high stop and a rear brake line. It is booked in again first thing Wednesday for final rego and warrant.
Val has to work until midday Friday and then we are on our way. Staying in some B&amp;B that Fish has arranged. Don't know if the modified will be there as the diff is out at the moment getting new gears and suspension.

I hear ya troubles on the VIN Alfster, we are having the same kind of woes with my mates Ranchero, seems like most of the places have toughened right up, hell they want him to cert the 302 being in it in place of a 390 ??

Couple of copies of the Mad Fab DVD arrived this morning, hopefully it will work on my Lap top, if so I will be showing it at the Hop and trying to generate some interest.

Hell what a weekend....... just wish it coulda lasted longer, picked up Peddro and Shelly at 1am friday, hit the hay and then spent all day waiting for my fiance to finish work (well till 3) hit the road and it was non stop till late yesterday.
Caught up with alfster and simonsez, saw about a thousand cars and a heap of people, a couple of bands (great surf band on Sat night) skids, flames, dragsters, Rods, Kustoms, stockers and everything in between.
Once again Noddy and the Hop team exelled, hope the T's fit (I know you are lurking now) did anyone get any pics ???
Peddro left to all points south for the week this morning, will see him back Sat I guess.

<font color="red">A great weekend. With our accomodation stuffed up we headed home late on Saturday nite. The roads were quiet and the speedo was up around the 100 mph mark several times on the long straight roads back to home. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
It was the best car event I have ever been to. The word was that they ran out of enrty form at 1300 cars. There was neat stuff everywhere. Even late on saturday night I saw several cars for the first time. Full marks to Noddy and the crew for a fantastic event. I have some photos in being developed at the moment but I really didn't take that many. I spent some time talking with the South Island guys that had driven up and got a bunch of pics of the 55 getting some pinstriping done.
