Hello
I have an early 70's style mustang that was an ISCA show car back in the day (1974) still with the original psych metalflake paint etc.
Next project is to build a early 60's style T-bucket with chrome reverse and probbaly a Olds.
A guy that lives less than 3 miles from me has an original mid 60's '34 Ford coupe that has been sight unseeen since 1968 or 1969 -car ran a cadillac engine and was metalflake green. Now it is in primer. There a probably 10-15 other original rods from the 60's and 70's within a 10 mile radius that have not seen the light of the day since the early 70's.Another guy in the opposite direction 4 miles away had a '32 roadster that was in Hot Rod in 1959. Never saw the light of day for 35 years until several years ago when he was offered mucho dollars.
Lot's of these cars were owned by steel workers who lost their jobs (and homes) back in the '70's and left the car in their parents garage to find work in other states believe it or not.
