Lower Arkansas will be there come hell or high water. OP Link bought a 51 ford 3 weeks ago and it was fairly rough. The Kats down here have been thrashing and it looks pretty good that it'll take its maiden trip to Dewey. Grant Clark (hubnut) in his 53 merc, Mike Walters in his 56 chevy, Don Newsom (kustomd) in his 60 chevy, and me in my 53 chevy will round it out so far but I'm sure that Duke Massey will be comming in what I don't know as well as Lurch (riding with OP).

Hey guys I thought that I would make it official and say that I will be attending this years show. Even though I heard the following reasons why the Stray Kat 500 sucks!!!

10) Big Daddy Alright &amp; the Bop kings don't play Hip Hop...

9) The trophy hounds are over ran with Stray Kats.......

8) Too many traditional Hot Rods and Kustoms.....

7) Too much primer &amp; not enuff Bling Bling...WHAT'S BLING BLING?....WAX?

6) The Host motel is too noisey.....can't get a good nights sleep.

5) What!!! Another old magazine in the good bag!!!

4) They ruin someones honeymoon every year

3) The Hot Rods are too loud....

2) The Kustoms are too low........."TOO LOW"?

1) Mick is just another show promoter whore wanabe.


The pre-entry numbers are way ahead of last years. The SK 500 even though Pate is the same weekend, looks like that we will have another good turn out.

The freebee shirts are long gone but if any HAMBers plan on attending the show, give me a holler and I'll get one of the freebee shirts for you.

The guy should have had a sense of humor about it, the Hotel people did. They were laughing about it and even told us that "next year, nobody BUT car people will be allowed to stay here"

I thought that was cool.

If they look black on the end where it fires just replace it instead of cleaning it. I hope he fixes it.
