old trans+ new engine??

Hello to all! I just scored a good deal on a 'new' '92 sbc. The question is will it work with a t.h.350?Also I will be putting a carb on it ,so I won't be messing around with fuel injection,computers,and all that crap.What will I need??? Thank you. Glenn

if it already has an automatic behind it, the turbo 350 will bolt straight up to it.

if it has a manual behind it, you will need to change over to a flex plate from the flywheel. the diameter it mounts to on the crank is smaller than earlier 2 piece rear main seal motors.

you will also have to make a hook-up for the kick down cable at the throttle.

Thanks Jerry! I really need my truck back,even though it tried to kill me! The'92 has a broken 400r,but I will be bolting up a th350 to it.The truck is a '71 c-10 I had since 1976. I have had two wives,but only one truck!! Glenn
