Hi everyone,

I'm from So Cal and own a 55 Chevy. Familys been into cars since forever, Dad homebuilt all of our cars and does interiors, bro's a mechanic and races at Perris Speedway, mom owns a Nova pro streeter that I've started to race...you get the idea.

Anyways just introducing myself...so yeah...um Hi!

Welcome!

I love your car! 55, 150, 2 door posts are the nicest of all tri 5's in my opinion,

is that an original color for a 150?

I've seen an original color that looks like that with a charcol color on some two tone Belairs.

Wish I still had mine,

Take Care,

Dan

After looking at the pic of your 55 again I just noticed the odd trim combo,
It looks like a 150 with the trim behind the front wheel and under the door added, or is it a Bel Air without the trim around the windsheild and down the sides?

Its an One-Fifty. My dad and I argued about the Bel Air side trim (he wanted it, I have other thoughts about it) so I came up with running the rock guards/runners down the side. Just this year, I let him put the Bel Air dash chrome on it too.

To your other question, the color is actually a 58 Buick color. I wanted a stockish color but hated the Salmon, its too pink for me. And I fell in love with the Buick color, and once again I was up against my dad for the color choice as well. He finally said "its yours, whatever you want."

Wow I like that one...might have to put that on the 55 somewhere.

Thanks again for all the welcomes and Happy Holidays to you all.
