No, but I saw a whole calender shot entirely with "classic" cars (different set of cars for every month) photographed in front of it... a few years back...for sale at Borders.... http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Yup, but I was fairly young and made the mistake of ordering biscuits and gravy before I appreciated that dish. It's kind of a cool place inside. Why, are you coming to visit?

By the way, the term is "Michiganders" or "Michiganians." "Michiganoid" sounds like a painful condition!

Bigcheese327....I lived in west central Michigan 10 years ago and stopped at Rosie's for breakfast many times. I was heading south to sprint car and midget races in Indiana and Ohio.
I plan on being back there sometime this summer. There are some old friends I want to catch up with.

SJ,
It's right near the corner where you turn north to go to Frakenmuth. It's been there for years. It's an old eastcoast diner that came out of New Jersey. Quite a history. Too bad it's not a hot rod hang out any more.

Hey Fuel Pump, and anyone else who cares, the old Birch Run diner cruise night has moved to Wolcotts Orchard on Coldwater Road, just west of Clio Rd. (not far from flatheadpete's shop) It will be held on the 4th saturday of the month, April-October. First one is next weekend!
Sorry for the hi-jack, now back to your regularly scheduled post. -Joe

thng that is cool about this place, i think anyway, is the history of it...it is the original diner that they used to make the old Bounty paper towel commercials in with the waitress Rosey, hench the name...it used to be in New Jersey and the guy bought it and had it moved to Michigan took him about five years to get it set up, used to just set there kinda forlone in the field..since then he has added on and bought a couple more diners that he has set at the same place...they are not only a business to him but actually an art form too...
