Well, Yes for those of you who think like that.It started off with that meaning, But it also stands for two tone pink. Can send more pictures of this build if anyone is interested in seeing what it started as.

Hopefully having another lady around here will up the cooth factor a bit.

Most of the younger guys don't know much about VWs. But us older guys all had one or two in our flower child years.

So welcome. And please post a picture or two of your ride with proud owner standing along side.

Welcome to the HAMB- Nice VW. I posted a thread a couple weeks ago about a VW with 28" cut out of the middle. A co-workrs dad built it. Cute little thing. Nice workmnship too. The moderators pulled it of the forum telling me it as off topic. I hope you have more success. I am sure you will. Again welcome T.T. Pink

After this build is tired out I want to build a 1957 Ford T-Bird. We will see how my work pans out on this build first to see if I have what it take to build a great classic like that.

You know at first I told a friend of mine who told me to lower it, that If I wanted a lawn mower I would have built one. But the more people tell me how cool it would look lowered and now that it is complete, I am seeing the bigger picture and now I see that it would look good lowered. I still have some time before my first car show, I might get it lowered by then or maybe at least before May. See With this being my first build, It is good to have feed back and ideas so I can add to my slow growing creativity. Keep them coming . You people are great !

First put the engine back in to see how the rear sits. Then if it still needs to be lower in the back...................................Couldn't resist, LOLYou know at first I told a friend of mine who told me to lower it, that If I wanted a lawn mower I would have built one. We also have a 1928 panel truck which we have made the dog catcher but that is Cliffs truck. He is doing so body mod's to it at this time so I have no new pictures to post of that. We have a 1923 T bucket body sitting in our storage that is going to become a trailer for our friends T bucket. So there is one on our property. But you know we are going build another one once I get my car out of the way. But I still want to build a 1957 Ford T-Bird someday

 Yeah, you're on the Carpets R Us message board:rolleyes:

You could try just heading to your local carpet store. I just bought cheap red stuff for 69 cents a square foot, 12 x 8 section cost me $70....doesn't get much cheaper than that. ;)
