I just got done making a deal on a 1940 Dodge 2 door sedan. It's not in too bad a shape, it has a camaro sub frame grafted on but comes with the original front suspension. It has a sbc out of a 71 vette in it[all apart]700r4 trans, and camaro rear[not in car]. All parts are there with the exception of the running boards and trunk lid. The floor needs fixed and some rocker work done to it. The guy's house got pulled out from underneath him and he has to move. I got it for $100, couldn't let this one slide by, even though with buying this house and the fact I just got laid off friday, I can't afford it,lol. I'm going tomorrow to pick it up. I'll try and get pics of it when I get it home, can't promise anything though, hehe. later plmczy

Thanks guy's. There are a couple coupes that run around here. One I seen way back when I bought my roadrunner it is a 41 coupe with a 360 in it, and the other belongs to the ex president of a car club I used to belong to. That one is a coupe with a 440 stuffed in it. I'd like to put a small block mopar in this one with a 4 speed, something not to wicked but a little above stock. later plmczy

Why a small block? you have to make mounts any ways why not put the big block in it http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif I'm in the process of trying to put a 440 in my other 56 Dodge..yeah the small block would be easier to fit but i like the way the big block fills up the whole engine bay.

Yeah, I thought about a big block but I want something a little milage friendly. Everything I do with my cars I take out of $30 I get a week and that's after I put gas in my truck to get back and forth to work http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif.

46mopar, when you have some free time LMK and I'll get you directions to my place and you could buzz out. It's a straight shot from Milton to Rohrsburg. later plmczy
