thanks Buick for some great shots, always great to see the people behind the brush, I have a couple of albums of my work that I have taken, only a few shots of me in action taken by others. Kind of neat to see the shots of one in action. Hey Carps, as much as we love the US aka the land of hope and hot rods, always remember we live in the greatest country there is, but it is always great to go and vist the good ole USA. The place I would want to live if I wasn't living here. I'll always call Australia home

Im the Hillbilly with the blck western shirt singing away. I have quite a few more pics of the artists in action. I'll post more on this thread a little later. I really do mean these guys are all top notch cool People. Some of the guys had to take Magoo to the hospital. He twernt' feeling well. Turns out it was intestinal blockage. On his way back from the hospital they painted a tolilet seat and called it Mapoo!! Man it was so much fun telling poop stories! I left before Magoo got back.......but Im sure the fellas gave him hazing he won't forget. This is one of the best events I have been to. It's very laid back....kinda like hanging out at home with family. Lots of whitty banter and good music by Us (the ridgerunners) and amazing art and painting goin on.
Here is a pic of something from Big Daddy that I saw last year......and it has given me a boost beyond words. I was thinking of giving up photography as a career and was filled with self doubt. I read this and decided....It's better to shoot for the moon and miss...than shoot at a pile of manure on the ground and hit it.
if ya cant read the photo here it is
What would you like to be remembered for?
We are all trying to get to heaven.
Everybody is born with a talent.
Use the talent.I encourage a person to use their talents to the best degree.
Take the talents you were born with and use it.
If somebody has a problem with it, then say Man, I just know this and that’s all I know. And Big Daddy told me to use it.
Encourage people to use what they got.
There is nothing else to be remembered for.

Words of wisdom from a very wise man......
Unfortunately, I did not know Big Daddy on a personal level, yet I miss him as if I did.....

Hey Geoff, that's why I only think it sometimes.
Besides, if I wasn't here, who'd take pictures of you spillin' paint on other people's cars? http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif
And for the entertainment of you experts with the brush, here's a couple of pics for you to laugh at, of my early work. Like I decided early last weekend to heed the words of the great master and give it a try myself. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif
My very first ever effort....

Having filled the old toolbox lid, I practised bendy lines and curves on the doors of my '33....

But I think I'm getting the hang of it.....

Great photos! Thanks for sharing. I certainly wouldn't mind doing laundry if I had that "mural" to look forward to when I got to the basement. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
