im trying to get the front suspension set up on my car but i need an accurate way to measure the king pin angle....i know it should be between 6 and 8 degree but im not sure how to measure it....i was thinking pull the spindles...set the axle center on a jackstand at ride height and then put king pins in each side and measure off them with the car on a level surface and motor installed...this will work but seems like alot of effort...anyone have any better ideas?
thanks

Get a Trick Shit(tm) protractor like this.(under $20)
Use the magnetic base to attatch it to the top of one of the kingpins.

The kingpin inclination will create a compound angle, but this isn't a problem.
These are also useful for setting pinion angles etc.
