nothings illegal if the cops dont care/ cant see it http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif that whole assembly fits under stock bodywork and can be activated by innocuous stock looking switches http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
40hp doesnt sound like much , but I can lift my scooter by myself

That NOS kit is crazy.

I have a few scooters. The only one that is roadworthy right now is a ratty P200. I just blew up the exhaust case on that, though, so it's parked again. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif

I also have, as total projects:
'59 Lambretta Series 1
'63 Vespa GL150
'63 Vespa Allstate
'79 Vespa PX150 (engine donor for one of the other bikes)
Lambretta chopper project and lots of extra junk

that NOS looks absolutely frightening. All that torque on 10 in wheels has to be a blast. I am rding my p125 stocker and it seems pretty exciting... 40hp must be insane.

Although I hate to admit it publicly, I have a couple scooters. Well, I have a big pile of parts that hopefully will be a couple scooters one day. I think I've finally got everything I need for one of them.

But my scooters are at least Harleys! That's right, Harley made a scooter called the Topper from late '59-'65. They're supposed to be relatively quick too...2 stroke 165cc engine & 50mph, but we'll see.

One day.

Does that mean it's like the rest of them, slow and ill handling?

actually scooters handle better than most anything because of the small tires and short rake, and if you think 100kph stock and 140 kph tuned is slow you can take mine for a ride on some back roads.
