1. I am really a "goldchainer", I just bought a Crate 350 for the spacetruck.

2: I put Air Conditioning, Cruise Control and a CD player in it becuase I like comfort on long road trips.

3: I'm saving up for kingpins to put on the Model A project. Seems something else always comes up to spend the money on first. I'll save up for a new front spring after that.

4: I like cars that are driven and don't look like Honda made them.

5: I like people who at least try to fix their own cars rather than just call the dealer.

6: I buy on E-Bay rather than waiting for something to show up at the once a year swap meet here.

7: I tried to convert my best friend to the dark side but failed! He bought a brand new C-6 Magnetic Red Vette with the 6 speed and Oak interior instead. At least it wasn't another minivan.

8: I got rid of cable so I no longer know what half of these posts are about anymore.

9: I really HATE rust holes & frozen bolts so I've had a hard time getting on with the 31 project. I know it'll get better when I start putting on the new stuff tho.

My first car was a '67 Mustang Coupe

I've always owned at least one Mustang (6 in all) since I got my 1st one almost 30 years ago, but only one has been later than '67.

My current stable has the following listed in their order of drivabilty...

1. '99 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 4x4 - Daily Driver. Only mods so far is a 4 inch lift with a custom driveshaft.

2. '26 T - Only hot rod. Currently under going some frame mods and the addition of a tri-power should be running in about a month or so.

3. '85 1/2 Mustang SVO - One of 439. I'm the orginal owner. Parked in 94 due to medical problems that kept me from driving it. Could be running if I put about $1500 bucks into.

4. '64 VW Notchback - Kind of a rare car in the US. Cal-Looked with a 1700cc motor. Had it painted in '85 and never put it back together.

5. '67 VW Beetle - 1776cc motor with 2 48IDA webers. I true 13 sec car. Wrecked a month after the last true Bug-In in Oct. '84. and oddly enough, there's a picture of it in this months issue of Ultra VW Magazine (british magazine) in a retrospect on my old club DKK. Similar article appeared in the August '03 VW Trends.

6. 64 1/2 Mustang Convertible - I own half of this car with my brother. A true project that we inherited from a close friend who was killed in a car crash last November. This car was a total stripper model with the only option being the convertible top. It's a 6 cyl 3 speed car. We've already mounted a late model 5.0 with an AOD trans.

I like SBC, flatheads, inlines, 500 Caddys, 455 Oldsmobiles, pretty much anything with a carb.

I like odd shit like Oldsmobiles and Studebakers. I also like 32's, Tri fives, anything that's cool.

- I think that the only reason primer should be visible on your ride is because you can't afford shiny paint yet.

- I lived in China for six months.....and liked it.

- I truly loved my ex-wife but now the only reason I miss her is because her hands/arms were small enough to change the plugs on the driver side of my big block '69 Mach I..... its due for a plug change.

- I've always liked muscle cars but the old iron has been an 'acquired' taste for me.
