What kind of transmission runs with a "push and pull only" shifter? Also, any overall pics?

I'm using a lawnmower choke cable fastened underneath my Ford with cableclamps. Fordomatic tranny seems to work ok with a push-pull configuration.

SHow some pics of how you attached the lexan-- I've got a rusty old vw camper I'm gonna be driving soon, and the camper top is shot...looking for cheap options on covering the hole in the top.

tranny is a simple 904 out of a dodge, but it works fine with the cable only
---- here are more pics from the whole car

BC, Any transmission can be shifted by push-pull. That's what a cable shifter does and they are available for just about any trasnsmission that's been made. Most all of the drag race floor mounted shifters are cable operated. Just a matter of mounting a lever to the end of the cable but the end result is still push-pull.

THat's just plain NEET!
How about a roll-up split bamboo curtain in tracks inside the Lexan roof?
(tracks like in "new" cars with sunroofs but you make them out of bamboo?)
