I am a nutcase-but every once in a while I come up with something that is worh considering at least.
first of all this would not be like huge NSRA or GOODGUYS EVENT.IT would be more like a limited size event for the hardcore element of the part of this hobby we represent-the HAMB and close friends
.This is an Idea that I have been kicking around-and I'd like to propose it to y'all and let you all think it over.......
I know there is plenty already in the works for and from the HAMB.
This would ultimately hinge on Ryans approval- so what ever we all talk about,we need to remember this is all HYPOTHECICAL-at this time.
The idea is really a collaboration of most if not all the HAMBS elements into one event.
it would be a showcase of the many talents that the membership of this board posess.........
that would include our cars and bikes-minibikes on site to enjoy of course-and most certainly DRAGS.
But the difference in this idea from what exists now would be to include displays of pinstripers and artists -tat's- set up where all could be around this element of our membership and see their art work in person.
Also another thing that triggered this idea was to also include MUSIC in its many forms as represented here by our members.Not as in only a band playing for an hour or two one evening but a showcase of MANY musicians in succession for a short example[say one minute] of each's talent.
Kinda reminescent of the Guitar slinger "battle of the soloists" in that movie "CROSSROADS"-with Stevie Vai and that punk kid who was pretending to play! http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
There are surelly some other areas of HAMB talent that I am overlooking as well so thats where discussion would be a good thing.
Also manufacturers would be able to display if HAMB members?
