that's funny, our class starts the 29th! I am kinda scared, my wife is getting big. Something tells me life is about to get real cool.

I want shots of it because I kinda remember it sat real low. I also remember the exhaust is ugly and the wheel weights were put on the outside..... I remember the small stuff. But I do like how low it sat. Someone must have a shot of it.

It does get cooler buddy. I was at friends house a while back and my daughter pointed out that his car was chopped. She's only 2! I almost cried. The dad thing is definitely what you make of it.

this weekend Rudy and I are hanging my doors. He is about done with all the metal work on the back half of the body. We need to tweek the top a bit becasue althought the chop looks good it is out like 3/16 or so and that aint right. Then the lead and file work will finish the body so we can start on the fun stuff.
I have a 50 Merc rear end for it and the original flat motor it ran at Bonneville in 52-55. I am going to use a late model five speed so you guys dont pass me on the freeway! http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

On Sunday I will post shots of Rudy's roadster that he is getting ready for the father's day show. It will make us all forget the truck he built! I'm not joking, it will be some of the best stuff ever posted here. It's that nice. As Crease Knows, some of Rudy's last stuff was not allowed to be pictured here because the owner did not want it to be seen and it never was.

I will take some shots of my car and also a few of my gold chains!

germ, great shot, the rear tires look very close to the body, I wonder what rear he has? My tires are easily 1 1/2-2 inches wider on each side. That thing does something for me. Sits perfect.

Germ, nice photo. Thats at the gas station at the I-15/138 cutoff about 9:00pm in the middle of the week. You shoulda seen the looks on faces at the station when seven dirty DUSTY '32s came roaring up, and I mean ROARING, and about 15-20 dirty DRUNK(except Brett) A-holes fall out to get gassed up.
That was one of the five best days of my life.
...and I got no pictures.

Brett has a great story about getting the first 32 3W body, which he ended up not using. (I helped him mount that one a little bit.)
His car the same chassis his black roadster body used to sit on- The one that went 173 or so Bonneville, then he came back and tore it back into a street car again.. Pretty fun stuff.

that's just me being an asshole! With a perfect car like that, stuff that dont look quite right (to my eye anyway) sticks out like a sore thumb. From the angle above the exhaust looks like it should have been tucked up higher and Brett (two t's, sorry) should fire his tire guy for putting the weights on the outside.
Shit, while I am at it, those lights dont look good to me on any car especially a 32 three window.

Man, and I'm the guy asking for pictures of it. What a dick! Seriously though, the shot above on the salt is one of the best shots of any car ever. Totally perfect.

I think we can get mine to sit just a tad lower. I will most likely bottom out on everything but it will look cool.

Ricky actually only puts up with me, I can tell he doesnt like me much. I always ask him what's taking so long. Coop stickers are the least of that mexicans problems... I saw him wear a taco cowboy hat around once. It's great, when I want to buy parts from him he goes out of his way to explain to me how they work and where they go. Imagine that, hot rod tech from a kid who aint never built one! I love him even if he talks shit.
All joking aside that guy has loads of talent and I wish he just went to a few less events and worked on his car. There is a total hotrod "scene" in this town and he is above it.

The new ride looks to be another well thought out example of your craftsmanship and design talents. I am sure John will keep your old car as he does all of his. I took that picture when I went to Roy's open house this year. I new he owned it but didn't recognize it as yours. One of the best possessions he has IMHO. I hope it leaves it alone.
