What I need is a measurement from the hubcap mounting surface to the outermost flat surface of the rim on a 16 inch wheel. I already have that measurement for a Ford wire wheel - just looking for a comparison. Thanks.

where are you going too??? the inside of the hub cap hole to the outer rim is 5 7/8, the next step would be about 5 and the next about 3 7/8 or so

The wire in your pic is a Kelsey Hayes that fits a Ford, not an OEM Ford rim. I have bunch of K H, and only 1 OEM Ford 16. If you still need the info, PM me. Davey http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Sorry, I need the OFFSET from the hubcap surface to the rim at the outermost flat part. Maybe all of those lines don't make sense. Basically I need someone tto put a straight edge across the hub and measure from that edge to the rim. Does that make more sense?

daveydeuce - I just robbed that picture as an example. All I have are Ford wires. Could you throw a ruler on one of your Kelseys for me if my info makes any sense now?

Nope...damn...thanks though. Could you push that ruler flat against the hub surface and put another ruler perpendicular to the first at say, somewhere between the 410 & 420 mark? I'm saying offset, maybe I mean DEPTH? As if you layed the rim flat on a table? Depth from hub surface to the outermost flat of the rim? I feel like a dolt.
