Quick and Dumb Nailhead Question....

Probably a stupid question but I dont know the answer so I'll ask,

Will a 322 Nailhead fan and pulley fit a 264 Nailhead?

Pretty sure it will. I think the only difference is the heads and intake.

Actually the intake should be the same on the baby nailheads. The difference in the heads would be combustion chambers I believe. Now the 364/401/425 are a different ballgame...

the pulley in question is a waterpump pulley.

there is a fan and pulley on ebay now for a 322....and i dont have a fan (dont remember if i have the pulley) for my 264 so i just wanted to be sure it would fit before i bid....

It'll swap.
The 264 and 322 are very interchangeable. The pistons and block are different, but even the cranks are the same.
However, Buick changed the combustion chamber/piston dome about every year between '53 and '56, so that's where the big interchange problems come in. They also added a harmonic balancer/damper, I think in '55.
