I need to get a reasonable freight company to ship some engines. Any suggestions?

I get the best rates from AAA cooper. I am in nc but they are out of dothan al but pick up and shipp all 49. Good service.

Heres an interesting idea. Its not 'who', but 'how'. Put your engine in a 55 gallon drum to ship it. All trucking companies are familiar with drums and have the equipment to move them.

The drum idea is true, Walneks Cycle Trader did a similar tech piece a few years back. To avoid Hazmat hassles, clean the drum,motor really well. I would also recommendo using the expanding foam when packing. Wrap the mill in shrink wrap first. add the foam all around,under and above.
