i finally have a second to talk about our vegas trip. we got back wednesday morning. we left last week and stopped by wyotech on the way out. we hit radshit's place and stayed at whiskey's house on the way back. a great road trip, to say the least. the 1961 bonneville safari wagon(bonnie) scared us a few times, but never let us down.
the numbers:
miles traveled: about 4000
gas stops: 20
miles until bonnie runs out of gas: 261
miles from a gas station when that happened: 31
naked, drunken truck drivers seen by me: 1
bottles of beer we left with: about 60
bottles of beer we came back with: 0
brownies consumed: 36
time to fix a flat tire in the rain: 2 minutes
times bonnie scraped the pavement: 127
major electrical repairs done enroute: 5
its all on film, we'll call it "greasers gone wild". thanks to those we talked to and stayed with, i didn't meet many people at all at the show, by the time we got there, i was pretty worn out. dave
