new guy here. just discovered this place over the weekend. i don't use capitals when i type cuz i'm lazy. i love schwinn stingrays, old 70s custom vans and mopars. i'm up in erie PA (i guess i use capitals sometimes) stop by if you want to talk cars, check out some old schwinns, drink pennsylvania beer and do burnouts. i was just checkin out the "show your vintage cribs " thread and it made me register. i will post some pics there tomorrow.
i don't have a real traditional hot rod, but i do got these:
75 dodge tradesman that was customized when new. i added the 360 and it will have the 4 speed installed by next cruising season. it ran a 15.5 sec. 1/4 before it had a sure-grip (thats mopar for posi).
74 dart swinger. looks like grannies car. i should be in the 12s by summer. 9.1 360 with 510/513 roller. manual 727 and 3.55s. i ran a best of 13.7 on my whitewalls. i've added sub frame connecters and new leafsprings but haven't been to the track with them yet.
69 ford econoline. 170 3 on the tree. i just got it this summer customized it in 2 months and went on a 4000 mile road trip with it! awesome. later mike
