Been lurking for awhile, getting a feel for the place and decided I better get off it and tell a little about myself. Been bitten since I was about 10 (38 now) starting with customs, then VW's followed by musclecars. Then the real hotrod thing hit and I haven't been the same since! Growing up I never had a family supportive of my "warped" view on cars so didn't actually get serious about building until my early 20's. I'm currently working on a steel '33 Tudor tub with custom rails, unique handformed body and one-off Indy/sprint style wheels. I'm influenced by most genres out there including the smooth, big $$$ designer stuff but like to put a real world twist to it. My '33 could be finished as a high zoot smoothie but I'm throwing a vintage quickie under the back and split 'bones up front and adding exposed hinges and handles because that's what I like. I'll post pics as things unfold (maybe even one of those "build" articles - I really enjoy those and would love to chronicle my progress).
I also have a background in Industrial Design and will be posting some design work in some upcoming Friday Art Shows, probably starting with some of my loose sketches and moving on from there.
Later,
Steve

welcome man, and welcome to another hemi nut...and a cold one to boot...I see you already made friends with the local MN roundy-round nut...we try not to let him out too often, he tends to run in circles and get dizzy too easily...

Close....but no cigar !
Because I'm naturally dizzy, I have to run in clockwise circles to get un-dizzy !! :D
