Junkyard Dog 32

I just picked up this deuce sedan (Ebay) and figure on starting on it right away.

I bought it to build as a "seller", so mechanics and structure are my main concerns. I'll leave the details to the new owner, after I get it road-worthy.
When it runs... it's done.
It was, I think, set up as a drag car. The frame is lightning holed, and the front hairpins (not shown) are really "dainty".
It has an vintage dropped axle, but the spring is over the top and really tall. Kinda takes away from the suicide frame set-up.

Any idea what engine these mounts might be for?

So I think I'll probably go with traditional split bones with the spring behind. I have a few to choose from.

I'm sure I'll channel it... as it sits WAY to high. I thought about going GASSER with it, but I think a "Low-N-Dirty" street beast is more sellable.

I love the '32 in EVEL's Mad Fabricators VLV coverage...
It made my tongue hard...
That's what I'm after.
Who's car is that?
Then again...
I do have this one, with sectioned rear wells. It's going LOOOOOWWWWWWWW..... Megga chop and channel.
This one's mine.
and I got an extra frame for this one in the Ebay deal.
Actually, that's what I was looking for when I found the sedan.

Although I didn't heat my shop and actually "build" much this winter (I wasn't planning on being here, so I didn't put up wood... and the place is huge... and it's fuckin' cold up here... there's still snow http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif ) I did make alot of trips to the yards and cleaned out every hotrod part I could scrounge.
I'd like to do a number of RPU's to sell, so I decided to stock up before the Chinese get it all in one big twisted wad.
Grille Shells... (some I had)

Cowls...

More axles and bones than you can shake a stick at...

So, I wasn't just sitting around watching American Graffiti one frame at a time. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif
I'd like to hear some input on the picture host.
I think it might be slower to load, but it makes it easier on RYAN.
I got from BEATNIK's test.
