Another member said I shoudl introduce myself, and let you all know a little about me. So here is my story.

My Name is Andrew, and im 21. I have had a good amount of cars up to my age i would think, but im sure that others have had more. I have go ne though many stages so far of cars that i have built and like. I started off with a 76 corvette at 16, and ill just throw this one out. That was a bad idea. I aquired about 3 tickest in that car and crashed it.

Then i had a 81 vette, and crashed that one as well. So not to much good luck with those cars there. I then got a 1997 honda prelude, which to fully tricked out. Dumped about 60k in that car, and now am selling for a grand total of like 5. You have to love how new cars prices deminish. But oh well it taught me alot. I fully built the motor, from a balanced custom stroker crank to the steel sleves to the custom pistons and so on. Fully built head with custom crower cams. All that nice stuff. I slapped a turbo on it, and put 20psi though it. Got around 600 wheel hp. ANd then blew up the motor. So yeah, that was a nice waste of cash.

Then i built a few more hondas for people. I dont know if you guys know alot about them, but i was the second person to take a RSX type S motor and put it in a 01 Civic. And i was the first person not backed by a shop to do it. That was fun car, and took about 2 motnhs to get that all done, and the night after the photo shoot, me and my buddy whos car it was were out driving and hit by a Drunk driver who totaled the car. So that was the final Honda i built.

So my current projects now are my 1949 GMC 1/2 ton truck,m My 1956 Olds 4 door hard top, and i jsut picked up a 1928 Model A truck. I drive my truck daily, and the olds is in the barn waiting, and the 28 A is in the grage being built. I do all my own work. I am lucky enough to have te room to do it all. I am into the old cars alot more than anythign else that i have done. I have always been lucky to have cars that stood out from others and the old cars are just so much more fun.

Umm, as for finaces and all, Im a registered firefighter paramedic. I have done other jobs such as Private Investigation, and Background checks. Not to much fun but i never did complaine when the check came. As for right now im in school getting my class A drivers liscense and my Heavey Equiptment operatiors liscense. I live up right now in Loma Rica California, near Marysville.

So yeah i think thats about it. Feel free to ask any questions.
-Andrew

PS. I know my typing is horible. Sorry about that.

Well I could probably find something ugly to say but...ah hell 21 and 60K in a Honda. Paramedics must make a lot of dough in CA.

Now onto bigger n better things where you get your cash isn't any biggie with me.
Glad to see you saw the light on cars. And you build your own to boot. That's good enough for me.
Welcome to the HAMB

Welcome to the HAMB. But... 60k on a honda? Why? What was the best time in a 1/4 mile? I've raced 4cyl turbo cars and can't imagine why you would put that much in a honda.
Glad you have seen some sort of light!
