I live near the PA branch and talked to a couple guys about the school and they said that they sometimes do stuff for people. I would guess that the Wyo brach would be the same.

Stevie,
McKims does good upholstery, but is a little pricey. There is another upholstery place by the True Value, but the guy is a nasty, dirty old man....read: no way white leather would stay white in his shop.
Paint....hmm.. I've seen some good work come out of Regals on Pierce Street on the west side. Thelens is also good, but they mainly do modern stuff, whereas Regals will still do vintage iron. American Collision will not even bid on anything older than '85 from what I have heard.
PM me if you need any additional info. Yes, WyoTech will do some paint and upholstery for those who do not attend, but the waitlist is long and there is rarely a guarantee of quality or return date on your ride.
If he wants to travel 3-4 hours East to Hot Springs South Dakota, Roy Powell is there. One of the top trimmers around, you wont get a better interior anywhere.

There's a guy doing upholstery named Lou in Laramie. He's got a shop behind UBC on Bill Nye - seems to do decent work and his prices are fair. There's also a guy in Rock Springs Wyoming that does nice work. I'll try to get his name
