I would love to get it, and add lights so I can drive on the street. I bet it sat for a long time before the current owner got it 25 years ago.

Nobody wouldn't happen to have any historical photos or info on it, would they?

I called the guy about it. He doesn't have any documented history of the car.. I looked through all my old lakes books and pictures last night and cannot find it. It looks preety cool though. I wish I had some place to put it. Its a neat piece

buyer beware sez I.if that guy has had it for 25 years and hasn't dug up the provenance on this thing then it's probably just another collection of old parts.cool old parts, but not worth anything extra-george

People find them in basements all of the time. This is an original lakes car with history. Just ask me.....I need some new pictures.

I personally have seen the above blue roadster last evening and after seeing all the documentation on it, can attest that it has never been on the salt at least three times in its life. Great project Grimlok.

I'm guessing that they are early Chrysler or something with a small (4-1/2") bolt pattern. They do not look like early Ford pattern to me. I wonder what type of suspension it has, since it says "open drive rear".

Those are Mexichrome Extrasmoothies. Maybe he should try blurring out that front end and those rear quarters and hope that someone mistakes it for a Missouri car.

Haha, yeah, I have to admit he tried his best but that car still has California all over it. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
