the tread seperated on one of my tires today. I need a set of 14" tires new or good used with a white wall. Wide or skinny. I dont want to pay a ton but I will spend good money for good tires. I also will buy a set of wheels and tires if someone has something for sale. that will fit 5 on 4 3/4. Thanks guys I need to get me daily driver back on the road soon.

We have discount tires here. Which is Americas tire. In Santa Cruz you can get four pretty good tires with skinny whites for about 150 but down here for shitty tires you pay 250 I dont get it. Thats why I was curious about anything in this area. I think I might send away for some supremes with skinny whites from somewhere. So on I search for tires.
Hey snacks you got any pics of your Rivi yet.

I just got a full set of 950x14 with a 2 1/2 whitewall for $700 mounted and balanced here in LA.
Don't waste time on cheap tires, the hassle isn't worth it when you don't have the cash to blow. Save up for some decent tires. I got stuck recently and it cost me $250 because of my decision to go with "cheap" tires...

Man, I got 215 75 14 and they want 250 for the mohave classics which look like shit and feel hard as a rock.If I am going to pay a ton for tires I might as well get some nice ones. But I cant find anyone who carries anything good. I called like 5 places today and Discount was the cheapest but I cant stand the look of that tire.
I just want something that looks good and handles decent. I am almost thinking going with 16" in rear and 15' In front with plain steel smoothies and some comp T/A 60 and 50 series tires.Fuck I dont know.

Sears acually just had a sale. I remember seeing my truck tires (215/70R14) for $119+. 4 days before the sale I paid $100 for 2 tires. Oh well.

Eric, how have you been?
I have always had good luck at Adams Avenue Tire (i think that the name), but they are on Adams just west of the 805 at the corner of Adams and 32nd on the SW corner. It's been a year or two, but they were always right on the price and know their product.
Give me holler sometime and we'll tip a few and catch up.
