A friends dad and uncle raced a A c-dan back in the 60's and 70's mostly at Famosa but it was in a mag at the time with the caption "Most Dangerous Car Alive". It was chopped and you could not get out of the windows, doors welded shut, and a lift out section in the roof to get out is all. There was only one seat and I think it was in the center. Any way I was woundering if anyone would recognise the caption and know the mag. he has been looking for it and his dad does not remember and the uncle has passes on, any ideas. thanks joker

Here is the only recent pic I have of it. Been killing myself to get the top in and the glass all in before Vegas. I'm finally getting there. I had a slight mishap with the front door glass so for the time being it is plexi but will be replaced with tempered glass like the rest of the car(laminated windshield of course) soon. This was kinda evil...in a different way. Not the standard low stance most guys are doing to get the creepy factor. But this car had and evil crawl to it. Big block Caddy 500...so it really was'nt a crawl.

Rounded out the roof and trimmed the fat... love these posts...

No...different car... 34 three window was a 5 day build.

They 27 is still here, sold it, but the guy had us re-do the whole thing. Different motor, wheels, and flakey paint....I'll show pics when we get the bodywork done....it was built pretty hokey. Firewall was glued in, welds to inner body structure were cracked, plywood floors. Looked cool...but...

i mostly see them on the original type frame, and mostly they are channeled.
i don't want a channeled car (they are bitchin, but not for me) but i do want a heavily chopped one.

Mine was channeled over A rails at the time of the build simply because it was the cheapest rout for me to go at the time. An A chassis is allot cheaper to build than a 32 chassis.

I do agree, a chopped sedan on 32 rails is bitchin.

i built my first a sedan with a chassis i built out of 2x3....unchopped un channeled...it was fairly low at the time....(2000) i did my second one on 32 rails....(its somewhere in this post....) gathering up pieces for another 28/29 sedan on 32 rails...a little different than my other 2....will probably be a full hood and sides....but a bit more motor under the hood and cowl....:D will have to see where it ends up ...to me nothing cooler than a 28/9 sedan chopped on 32 rails...... brandon:D

How the f**k do you guys avoid speed bumps or anything else on the road with these f**king cars?? Or are these trailer queens that don't get driven much but on and off a trailer for car shows???
