really like the front, really hate the back. it would need to be redone. sometimes an ugly early custom is OK because it's early... this one has to be redone. too ugly.. even beyond ugly.

I am always amazed at these potentially mega-dollar cars listed on eBay with two shitty pictures and the rest old magazine scans. Geez, if you're gonna sell it, take a few frickin' pictures. I'm sure potential buyers would like to see the interior, engine, side profile shots, more than just the two dark pictures where half the car is cut off.
Very cool car, very bad pictures.

Wow I thought that car was going to be restored by Winfield and others. At least that was the rumor floating around this year at RockNRods on 66. Kind of a neat car since it is a locally built one, but not my favorite by any means. Hmmm....I'll have to show the link to some of my locals, maybe one of them will buy it back.

Damn cool car,IMHO..I'd give a kidney for it,maybe both of them...too bad it's not close enough to stock to suit some of youse guys
instead of bad mouthing the car, step up and buy it, then change what you don't like. After all, that's how it came to be this way anyway. It doesn't appear very stock at the moment, so it might be susceptible to some changes.

I tend to agree it was better in it's earlier configuration.
Most of those old show cars would do the show circut for so long and then get what has been refered to as "Show Blind" people would stop looking at it, so the owners/ builders would change it to attact attention again the next show season. It is acutally kinda rare for an old show car to stay the same for a long period of time.
Reguardless it is still a piece of history.

Version No.1 - Just right! Version No. 2 - Just WRONG!!! I agree with you Roadstar, when a "show car" had been on the circuit for a while it became neccessary for the owner to change the appearance in order to keep the buzz about their car. But Holy Crap, what the hell was this guy thinking? The front of the second version is really not too bad but, then you get around to the rear end things just go to hell. What a monstrosity! Without a doubt the ugliest bit of customization since the "Pink Beast." Other than that, I have no opinion.

I think it's pretty cool either way.
Seeing history pieces come back out has got to be the best thing going!

That thing is GROSS. The "lowrider magazine" style interior is the icing on the cake. The front end is almost cool though , I gotta admit.
I was told "NO EBAY LINKS on the main board!" under no uncertain terms- guess it's cool if it's not your car???
