Artist at Large Carshow.......updates again........

June 5th...... it's a Saturday..... in Downtown Wellington, KS....... I've been starting to gather the bands and doorprizes......gonna start around 9:30 and ruin downtown til 4:30......... daybands include The Roustabouts from OKC and Cliff Majors band, the Delrays. Cliff is a local legend here in Wichita, he used to play geetar with Dave Gonzales a lot....... the local theatre, which is within sight of my shop, is planning to run Graffiti throughout the day.......at eight we'll start the nighttime lineup at the old American Legion (of doom), with Jimmy and the Teasers and wrap the night up with Big Daddy Alright and Johnny Reno.........during the day we have Jime' Litwalk and Jeff Shea from Detroit,and Erik Inclan and Sam Chamberlain from Dallas sittin in at the shop tattooin'......Friday night is the big panel jam/paintin party hosted by our good friend Blaine Scott....... everything that get's painted the friday night gets auctioned off on saturday....the show is free during the day and we're only charging 5 bucks a head to get into the Legion at night......last year we had some great door prizes from some great companies, and some even kooler prizes from Germ, fatLucky's and several other Hambers.......guest artists making the trip are Kieth Weesner, Dan Barnett, Willy Fisher, and Marcos Garcia..... how many of y'all knew he pinstriped?.......I'm working on 'many others'.........
Will Sean from FatLucky's finish my Chevy's headliner and drive it here to the show?. Will Cole and Germ have a cross country adventure like Thelma and Louise that ends in Wellington?....... Will Scratch leave the confines of Burbank to seek solace on the plains of Kansas?.....Maybe Jason from Flyrite will decide to skip a local bike show and decide to 'fly right' up to Kansas...maybe Hamilton will get away from the Metroplex long enough to lay down some lines and drumbeats up north here.......we'll just have to wait and see.......

scared ...i aint scared, got the engine tonight but bell housing is wrong ,found a monster cam in the 560's lift and wide gap for really wicked lope. and got a magneto too,so let see get the 2 4's rebuilt install cam and solid lifters,get some brakes and mount body,couple of wires... some 456 gears,and stout clutch ,just might be ready for your show .betcha it will be some white knuckle sideways tire smokin, let me the hell outta this thing rides when its going.

Took her(your Chevy) for a slow cruise to Krupa's house on Sunday. The weather was perfect and I knew he'd want pictures in front of his house. I'll try to get the drool off before Fatlucky's picks it up. I am really impressed be how well that car runs and rides. A little different than the loud, smelly, bouncy coupe. And chicks dig it a lot more. I got all kinds of waves. Maybe it was the Beatniks plaque?

Johnny, I hate the 'tribute show' things..... that's why I've never been to one. I think the biggest tribute is that this kind of thing still exists because of them......Germ, I fully understand the travel limitations in a year's time. The Steakhouse motel is already full......but here are the numbers to several others.....the Oak Tree Inn-620 3268191. the Sunshine Inn-620 326 8944. Wellington Motor Lodge620 326 2255. these places are pretty clean, just don't expect the Hilton and you'll be OK........Radshit, Just don't haul a trailer through Oklahoma and you'll be alright......... If it weren't for the state of Oklahoma, I'd be really close to the great state of Texas........ If it weren't for the Desert, the people in SoCal would be a lot closer to me.........
