So, can you blame me? I posted a thread without reading the directions first- I am a normal guy- do shit first, if it doesn't work, THEN read the directions.. Didn't mean to offend anyone.
My name is Mike, I am from Ohio. I was in the Air Force for 5 years working on F-15's which got me into liking fast vehicles. All my friends purchased and worked on hot rods and I followed suit. I am not against any type or make of car- ( they had Fords, Chevys, AMC's and Mopars) I could care less. We all worked on them together. Of course there was the usual trash talking like telling my buddy my 1968 Chevelle ( at the time) could pull his 66 mustang down the quarter faster than it could go under it's own power but it was all in fun. I respect anyone who can work on their own car and have the thing roll down the street- even though sometimes it needs some help rolling!
I have two projects- one is a 1970 Chevelle SS 396- used to be my daily driver but I have not spent enough time on it and it needs some help. The other is a 1980 Corvette- I pulled the origainal 190hp stock 350 out, built a 427, ran that for about 1 year, had a job change which led to no money so the car had to sit.- for about 4 years. I finally saved enough to start working on it again and this spring I pulled the motor back out, converted into a 4spd from an automatic and rebuilt the 427 again- this time with a blower. I have had big blocks for awhile but never a blower motor so I am a little in the dark- and being out of the car scene for so long, I need some help- which is why I came here.
Sorry for the life story- just giving it to ya straight.
