Winshield Frame Tech Help

Howdy all. Tim here. I remember seeing where people had made windshields of the 3 piece variety on this board. Has anyone just made a frame for the glass out of channel? I have the stock stancions for my 26 T roadster. I would like to see how easy it would be to just make a frame for the glass portion. Has anyone done this? I would like to use the stock swivling portion on the bottom section.
Any thoughts?

Does anyone have any ideas about this? I guess we may be the guinne pigs on this one...I'll see about taking some pics of how we do this windshield frame deal...for a tech "how not to build a windshield frame" just a chapter in our book on "how not to build a Model T hot rod"
