I was sent to the H.A.M.B. by my boyfriend. I'm very interested in learning all that I can. I'm just starting to get into traditional hot rods and customs, and I think think this is the place to start!

I'm particularly interested in '51 slantbacks ever since I saw one driving down woodward a few weeks ago. I honestly thought it was one of the coolest cars I've ever seen. I'm usually more into the fancier side of things but this car had so much soul. I just loved everything about it.

Some day soon I hope to have my own to work on and start a new chapter in its life.

You either saw Stickylifter's car a chopped 50 chevy fleetline. or ol drippy's who also has a 50 with some grill teeth added. There both on woodward a bunch.

Welcome to the Hamb from Warren....

There is a bunch of us on here with 49-52 fleetlines. The coolest one is Stickylifters chopped 50', but there is at least a dozen more killer ones.

They are a great car to do up. Not too expensive, lots of parts availability, and there seems to be enough of them around that you can find one.

If it was a poor boy it was Marc (Stickylifter) most likely and yeah it's a cool ride...
