Update on Daisy (lick of paint at last!)

Hiya folks

At long last got a bit of paint on Daisy http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

After finally picking a colour which lets everyone know it's a gal's truck.

Painted the firewall and inside the cab, so the next job is to put cab back on chassis put engine and gearbox back in and concentrate on painting the outside of the cab and the rest of it properly.

As you can see i have changed my mind about the colour of the engine but i think it works well.

I agree with Classy56, Use a little (not alot) of the purple on the body of the truck to tie it into the motor...maybe some purple striping.

Thinking of doing running boards, grill, GMC markings, Gearstick and Steering column and any little assessories in the purple to tie the two colours together.
