Just got the new Snyders catalog and notice they have them available for coupes, tudor and closed trucks. Supposed to have same gauge and beading as original; USA made. Part # A-836-A $50 a pair.
Doesnt say how high they go.

The web info is buried in mini type in one place only! Dumb marketing.

I noticed these the other day on the Howell's Sheetmetal website (the ones in the Snyder's catalog probably came from Howell's). It says that they go up to the belt line and they are $45.00 each.

Howell's webpage (http://www.fordor.com/cgi-bin/store/fordor/getgo.exe?goto+/catalog/S_5.htm+basket/1009413890.1009414140.bsk)

I think that there is a HUGE difference between Howell and Snyder panels.
Read both again.

However both versions serve a big need.

286merc, are the patch panels listed in Snyder's catalog the ones for the bottom of the outer door skin (7" tall) or the full door skin? The short ones have been available for a long time; the full door skin is just recently available. Howell's lists the short outer patch panels at $35.00/pair. I am fairly certain that Howell's is the source for these panels which are then sold by the various vendors (Mac's, Lang's, Snyder's, etc.). I have only bought from Howell's a couple of times and have absolutely no complaints. They have a very quick turn-around time; are polite on the phone; and since they are the manufacturer, their prices are a little lower than that of the vendors. Check them out!

Snyder doesnt list the height but Id bet you are correct about Howell.

I have that Howell site bookmarked from a few years ago but only tried ordering once. I wanted the full skins and not only were they out of stock but the doofus on the phone couldnt tell me if they were full width skins or just the inner section. Obviously not the boss!
That was when I built an English wheel and made my own.
