I rented a house with a great garage once. You could pull the car in, drive it around and go back out the same door without backing up. It even had a pit and engine hoist built in. Was working on buying it but the owner's kid got kicked out of the army for selling drugs so he gave it to him. The little prick's in jail now for selling drugs again but the house is in his name and the old guy died. Someday...

my car is not done yet...i was actually there to look at a few things on his A for ideas on mine...and i wanted to see how he got the 39 so low since im getting the frame for my 37 next weekend so i can work on that when i get frutrated with my A...looks like just dropped axle, c-notch, and reverse eye springs..he said its a rough ride and hes gona paint it cause women always say his car is "cute"...that thing is one of my favorite cars of all time...not that many full kustom coupes here in central PA that i know of..espeically with all the old parts still underneath and a full house flathead under the hood

tommy, i know what your saying...thats probably one of my favorite cars of all time...its nothing real special..but theres just something about it...the first time i ever went there all i knew he had was the roadster...can you imagine my eyes when he opened the door to the chopped 39 and the 49 merc sitting side by side...plus that blue 49..theres a 54 chevy...custom 62 impala 57chevy...chopped chevy truck and 2 restored big cars from the 30's...i donlt know exactly what the stockers are because my eyes keep turning to that 39...thats the inspiration for my 37 that im going to build as soon as my A is done

Are the drip rails shaved on that 39?
I'm working on a 39 Buick and been thinking about
getting rid of the drip rails.
I probably should leave them,, http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif
The buick has a big dome top...
