I have one hanging from the rafters in my shop. came off a p51 mustang, but you can't have it. the sky is the limit on prices. what ever the traffic will bear i guess. have fun.

Rod n Race Fiberglass in Maryland(?) has 'em. I think $1100. I just picked up an aluminum P-38 a few months ago right here in South California. Wayno

im not realy one for fiberglass...worst case...i'll make my own body..i know a guy with a buck for the front half of a p-38? tank, he said i could use...wish i could just find one for a decent price though
they are one of those things that if you have to have one now you may pay through the nose for,
but if you aren't even looking for one they sometimes just turn up.
I've had two of them, one I found in an old barn that was to be torn down and the other I found hanging outside a junque shop painted up as a giant fishing lure.
first one was free and the second I traded an old plunger blasting machine and a banjo uke for.

Maurice, Jack hasn't mentioned it in some time. We'll be running it in May at El Mirage. Are you coming over this year? Wayno

I think I won't be over before October... For the HRR... But then we'll defenitely go to El Mirage on Sunday. We defenitely have to meet up again! Too bad you didn't have a chance to talk last time on the dirt.
If I can save up some cash I might be over sooner, but I don't know about that...
