Born and raised into a family of Hot Rodding. My Dad has been building Street Rods and Hot Rods for 40 + years. And raced a 55 Chevy in C/G and D/G in the mid and late 60's at Union Grove.
I have always been into vintage 60's drag cars since I was 16.
My first car a 55 chevy was a 60's gasser before everyone jumped on the wagon and began following the craze.
I currently have a 56 chevy 2 dr sedan that was a 60's gasser with a internally period correct 327 with a M/T stroker crank and other period internals.
I just finished restoing a 55 chevy 2 dr sedan that was a late 60's drag car and just found out yesterday it was well known in SE Wisconsin. More to follow for anyone interested.
I also just acquired a new project a 55 B/Gas hard top with engine set back and 39 ford cross spring axle. Found in a garage in Milwaukee 6 weeks ago.
Anyone needing help with their gasser project or want to swap vintage parts, I look forward to talking to you.
