OT-need computer help...

Ok, I can't figure this out. I'm going to be at my mom's house for awhile while she's gone to visit my sister, and the month old computer she got will NOT let me check my e-mail. It's an msn account, and I usually use msn explorer, but I can't log into it, or my e-mail account from the hotmail page. There was some adware or spyware or somethign that would take me to another page intead of my inbox everytime I'd log in. I got deleted that program but ti still wont' take to my e-mail or let me log into msn explorer. It just says that the page cannot be foudn ro some shit. Any computer gurus out there that know what the deal is? I got some fairly important e-mails coming today...

If it was ad ware getting in your way in the first place, how'd you take it out?

Pehaps running something like AdAware6 from Lavasoft would clean it up better and restore some function.

Firewall settings
Proxy server settings

Go to download.com.

Search for Adaware. Download and install it. Update it from within the program (theres a button right there.) Scan for spyware.

I bet it will cure all. It usually does when it comes down to Internet Explorer issues.
