question about 49-51 ford door hinges...

my hinges are so wore out ,that you haftoo lift the doors up to shut them,,and when you open them up you need to watch your Vans,cuz the might take out your big TOE...well the second part may be made up but they are way worn...


my question is...

..someone told me "just get an oversize pin" well that sounds simple enuff,but where do you get them? do you have to redrill everything??? i mean ,it seems it'd be more to it than just popping in a bigger pin...

does anybody have any good hinges(all four) or are shoeboxes bad about the hinges wearing out???

Ok, Butt...here's what I did with my 49 coup-ay... I ran a 5/16ths drill through both halves of the hinges and simply stuck a 5/16ths stainless bolt in with lotsa never sieze.installed a nylock nut on the bottom and cut the excess off with a 3-m cutoff wheel The end.
