Well, not new, I have been in these forums for a while now, but I never posted an intro. Very sorry about that. Although I feel I have only posted once or twice, and neither was a classified.
With that out of the way, I am Adam, I live in North Glendale, AZ, I am a graphic designer and in my spare time I have taken up the art/hobby of airbrushing and pinstriping. I have been airbrushing since I was a kid, but only recently got back into it and got more serious. I am hopefully going to start doing side projects the beginning of next year, mainly airbrushing flame jobs, skulls and whatever else is needed. I still have a long way to go to get my craft where I want it, and of course a true artist never "perfects" his craft, as there is always something to learn or improve upon.
Pinstriping....I am fairly new to it, and I love it. Its a great way to spice up anything. I always welcome any criticisms and any help from fellow stripers, I don't have anything to show as of yet but hopefully in the coming months I will start taking some pics and getting some on here for all your critical eyes to see. Suggestons, comments and even "dude that looks like shit" remarks will be welcomed and helpful. I am a thick skinned guy and take no offense to anything.
Lastly, I have no hot rod. Though my first car was a 72 Chevelle SS at the tender age of 17. And unfortunately I sold it to buy a house. Well a down payment anyways.....I am a big lover of Hot Rods, Rat Rods, Coupes and Roadsters and have been my whole life, I love early 30's roadsters, but mostly I have a love for 50's chevy's and old 40's fleetlines. I am hopefully going to pick up anywhere from a 51 to a 54, and I came here to find one. When the right one comes along, I am hoping to be able to swing the purchase.
So this is me, any questions just ask. I write for a DVD website also in my spare time, but I am not here trying to pimp that. Just letting you know. Thanks for being a great group of people and making the H.A.M.B. a kick ass place to waste time while I should be working.
