Hi There~ Aparently I am also an idiot, I should have started here but I didn't. So now I will.

I have been comming here and reading tech posts for quite some time and decided that I should join in and interact instead of sneeking around the outside.

I have been modifing cars (or more likely trucks) as long as I can remember. I am a traditionalist in that I build using what I can beg, borrow, or more likely make myself. I have a degree in metals and manufacturing, and I am a certified (lunatic) H-D mechanic. I worked as a H-D mechanic for 9 years doing service work and building custom bikes for Clinton's Custom Cycle in Lincoln CA.

I quit the bike business to work as a welder/fabricator on my own, and I do any type of fab work I can, cuz it all uses your brain. My current personal project is a 37 Chevy truck (as low buck as possible) although I always have a lot of projects going on at the same time.

I also do metal art some sculpture and some furniture. Maybe at some point I post a pic or two.

I think that this is a great forum to find info on and I hope that I can do my part to help answer other people's questions too. It's nice to meet all ya'll.
