Can anyone put a tape measure on an A cowl for me?

Just need a measurement from inside the A pillars and outside the A pillars somewhere close to the bottom. Coupe or Sedan - doesn't really matter.

46-1/4" across outside at base of pillars. pillar is 2-1/4" wide at door jamb so take off 4-1/2"....
That's off a 29 Briggs 4door

37 1/4 inside and they taper to about 39 1/2 outside right at the bottom. Hope this helps

What year and model is that that's so different?

Woah...that's a big differnece. Maybe I wasn't clear enough. I meant measured close to the bottom of the windshield opening. That's where your measurement came from DrJ? And I assume Levis was measuring at the bottom of the cowl. Thanks both of you - looks like my idea just got screwed either way.

I was measuring across the pillar stubs that are cut off so they're onlyabout an inch above the cowl. tape straight, not bending over anything. but I don't know if a Briggs is the same as a Ford coupe or tudor. My other one hasthe pillars completely removed soI can't check it.
I suspect the other measurement may be off a 30-31
