I've got a couple cars that I want to rebuild the carbs... Can y'all recommend any parts suppliers that carry rebuild kits for older cars? I reckon Kanter is a good place to start, but I'm hoping somebody can turn me on to a supply company I've never heard of.

The only carbs I've done were '47, '55, and '78 Carters, and NAPA had kits for all of 'em.

I found VAPHEAD's post in the HAMB-o-dex section and sent him an e-mail.

If VAPHEAD doesn't carry them, I'll probably go to NAPA. My small-town NAPA has non-user friendly hours and generally look at me kinda funnay when I ask for parts that aren't for a tractor or a Chevy pickup...

Besides, if I can give the business to a HAMBer, all the better...

Ive got the 2001 Hygrade Master Catalog; goes back to the 30's. Need application and hopefully tag/model #.

They are a part of Standard Motors so there should be plenty of availability.
