I've got this '47 for 'vert that I bought in college and built a chassis for then put on the back burner. I keep walking by that thing thinking that something needs to be done....but I'm not quite feeling it. Any cool pics out there....even of coupes?

Looked for ya at the show, but never saw ya. Hopefully we'll see ya soon.

Hey Crease...I saw your car all weekend but not you. I was hoping you could make it for the shop crawl, but I take it you were busy helping out on the A-coupe. We should pick a weekend, grab a few cars and just drive for no reason. We could meet up half way...say in San Marcos or New Brausnfeld and head east...(or west)and just listen the sweet sounds coming from the pipes http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Hey Reggie, the best way to make the vert look cool is just let me have it. I am sure that you would not miss it. You just kept walking by it anyway... I would even give you a ride in it when it is done.

Reggie,
Sounds like a blast. Sandman and I are planning a little junkyard outing soon. It would be cool if you could go. As soon as we figure out the date, I'll let you know.

Watch Back to the Future and look at Biff Tannen's car. I always thought it should have a 331 Caddy under the hood - though I think the implication is that it's just a stocker that he abuses.

I'm feeling something now!!! Any whitewall wearing, low down and dirty asphalt scrapin', no hubcap havin', gas fume smelling dogs out there. You know, the kind that you gotta stick ya arm out the window to make a turn.

That car is cool but it's way too low. Cars just don't look right when the wheel and fender radii don't match. They just look broken.

Here's mine, or at least it was mine until a couple of years ago. It's in Long Island NY now. Built in my garage out of a rotten ragtop and a great coupe. Final paint and upholstery were farmed out. Everything else was done right here.
