OK, I have other plans in the works too, but I guess I just sorta said I like that front end combo! http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

So, Skratch, your shop is in So. Cal?
The land of the shaking earth?
And you don't have a safety chain around your gas bottles/missiles?
OOps!.... http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif

Hey Scratch,

I thought that you were only supposed to use 60 Mercury grills.
The front end on the El Kamino is real kool, its nice to see a new idea.
Keep us posted with the progress.

Happy Trails,

Mick

I really dig the caddy grille... looks sharp, keeps it early 60's in style. I've been thinking about the 1960 Buick grille... that concave shape playing off the roundness of the front fenders... Those 60 chevy's are good for lots of different grilles, almost like a blank canvas in a way.

the buttons are lincoln repops..

yeah, those chevy's are good like that.it would look good with a 60 pontiac grill too.

i totally missed the round-up.i have alot going on out here.i'll try to make it to paso.

Geez, I thought my 60's bumpers were bad, they're mint compared to that one!!

Interesting look. Should turn some heads. Wonder how an elco would look with a 59 or a 60 Buick grille.

Very cool Skratch.

On that '60, what are you going to do around the grill opening?
