Hey Guys on the down hill of my first mild kustom build and cant get enough anyone know a place to pick up some weekend welding classes like to learn how to mig / tig.... and you know figure what the differance is. Any one in or around the Sac area know a place? I hear the C.R.C has a program but is it any good? Like to pick up some basic fab skills so I can get these projects out of my head and find some peace.

Most of you adult night schools and colleges have welding classes you can take.

I took a night class at the local JC. It taught me some basics but honestly I learned more by asking questions here. After that it's all practice and having a more experienced person check your work.

So what is the differance between mig and tig and wich should a guy with c notch aspirations be lookin at?
